Regardless of if you are using an e-file, classic tools or a combination of both, all our brushes will be compatible to your process.
Original is light weight with two brush heads. It allows for effortless side to side sweeps which will more efficiently remove dust and particles from underneath the free edge and those hard to reach areas.
Micro is ultra-light weight with a barely there feel. Its single compact brush head is perfect for precision dust removal. The narrow band with of the Micro allows for more accurate motions in reaching specific areas of the nail fold, side walls and free edge.
Neo is for those who would like a slightly thicker brush to the Micro and for those who prefer a silver aesthetic.
The Original brush is recommended to be worn on the ring finger whereas the Micro and Neo are ultra light weight and narrow banded, recommended for either the ring or little finger.
The Brow Edit is currently unavailable. It is a Micro model that has been design altered, for brow specialist, with Midnight bristles for tint stain resistance.
The Original was designed to be worn at the midpoint of your ring finger.
The Micro and Neo are narrower and so can be worn at the midpoint or even the tip of your ring or little finger.
The L’Omni is a universal fit brush which does not require measuring for. The position in which this brush is worn varies between each individual user and depends on comfort. As this brush has a c-shaped handle and is open on one side it can also be worn at the base of the finger - this suits some artists more and is particularly useful on the little finger when angled in the correct way. This brush may need to be stabilised in place with the adjacent finger to the one which it is being worn on.
The L’Omni is an essential addition to an educator’s kit as students can use the brush to learn correct techniques without needing to own a brush themselves.
Salon owners who have a flexible or growing team can make these available to their employees to enhance ergonomic standards within the salon.
Those who enjoy variety in colour and/or would like to build a collection as there are new releases each season.
For many the L'Omni is their go-to brush regardless of the above.
For client facing users it is recommended that you own as many brushes as you see clients a day. For instance if you see three clients a day then we recommend owning three brushes. It is ideal to allow the brushes to dry over night for a completely dry feel especially for dry manicures.
Disinfecting all your brushes at once at the end of the day also saves disinfectant solution and your time between clients. This will also dramatically increase the life of your brushes.
For proper disinfection brush bristles, regardless of brand, style or use, must be submerged in disinfecting solution for the recommended time - merely spraying the brush bristles will only disinfect the perimeter or contact points. For our full guide on disinfection please visit our Product Care page.
La Brush are fitted brushes which are measured for. They are worn and placed in a position that suits each user. They remain in place regardless of hand motion. You should rotate your brush to a position which allows your hand and wrist to remain in the neutral posture. To do this, hold your hand in the neutral posture, bring your brush to the nail you are working on (whilst remaining in the neutral posture) and rotate it so that it is angled at the area you are brushing (cuticle, free edge etc.).
If worn correctly you will not need to rotate your hand and wrist at all for brushing during your preparation process which will reduce your risk of repetitive strain injury. Protecting your health is important and at the heart of what we do so if you are unsure of correct positioning and posture please do contact us for complementary one to one guidance.
The L’Omni is a universal fit brush which is not fitted so you may need to gently support the brush in place using the adjacent finger to the one which it is being worn on.
All our brushes are individually manufactured and hand finished in England. They are made to last and will last. The life of each brush depends strongly on the user. Proper care of your brushes will increase their lifespan. The general recommendation is to regularly take a close look at your brushes to make sure they are in pristine condition. The bristles are made of vegan synthetic fibres and so for hygiene reasons we recommend replacement if these have changed in shape or colour. This can happen as a result of poor product care and/or overuse.
Please view our Product Care advice for guidance on how to take care of your brushes.
