Please disinfect your brushes after use on each client. We recommend owning as many brushes as you see clients a day. It has proven to be the most efficient and least wasteful method of disinfection. For instance if you see five clients a day, owning five brushes would mean disinfecting them all at once at the end of you day saving you time and disinfecting solution. Your brushes would be disinfected and completely dry, ready to use the following day. Each brush would be used less often, so they would last much longer.
Wash your brushes using a gentle detergent, whilst brushing through the bristles. Alternatively use and ultrasonic cleaner. Rinse thoroughly before submerging the bristles and spraying the handles of your brushes using Labology 3 sanitising water. Leave to stand for 2 minutes. Rinse your brushes with water and dry thoroughly.
To avoid any waste, use an ultra small container such as a dappen dish and stand your brushes on their bristles when submerging. Submerge only the bristles as opposed to the whole brush.
Please note that the bristles of any brush should be submerged for proper disinfection. It is a common misconception that spray or wipes are sufficient.

For periods when you are not working with your brushes please disinfect them and store them in a dry place. To avoid damaging them, ensure the bristles lie straight and are not bent.
Our ergonomic brushes have been thoughtfully designed to feel weightless and achieve ultimate comfortability. The super light composition of our brushes cannot withstand the heat and pressure of an autoclave. An above satisfactory level of disinfection can be achieved using the above recommended methods.
For routine nail treatments it is not necessary to sterilise brushes, but it is essential to thoroughly disinfect. The NHS and HSE recommend sterilising instruments that penetrate the skin or contact sterile areas of the body. They recommend disinfection for non-invasive tools and treatments.
Please prevent contact of your brushes with acetone-based substances such as gel removers.
